The main activities of SED are the upload, storage,
bulk blending, packing and delivery of fertilisers for crops and plants
care
Activities of SED :
Our activities can be divided into 2 main fields :
- The standard supply of fertilisers or
blended fertilisers. Our main clients are the fertiliser dealers,
cooperative society and the final users are professional growers. They
are dealing with us because we are expert in buying big quantities, in
bulk blending and packaging fertilisers.
- Global services for the fertilisers
manufacturers who are looking for an efficient base for supplying their
products and for who SED will offer the total control of their stock
and traceability.
Products of SED :
The products we can stock are mineral granule fertilisers including:
Dry Bulk blending
Dry bulk
blending is described as the process of mechanically mixing solid
fertilisers materials. SED has developed and operated since the year
2000 a state of the art dry bulk blending plant that is registered
under the Patent number: 01/10654 dated of the 9 august 2001 and own by
SED.
Description of the process :
With the continuous mixing
of several products controlled by certified load cells, this state of
the art fully automated process plant can deliver 60 tonnes/hour of
blended fertilisers on a daily basis.
To achieve the level of
quality expected, the speed of the conveyors and the flow of the
granules through each hopper is controlled. All the different
parameters are compared in real time and automatically readjusted to
optimise the production and limit loss.
For each batch, a
production report is printed with the final blended quantities. This
report can be used for both quality control and traceability.
This process plant is allowing SED to :
-
Increase the output of the plant by decreasing the processing time of a batch and make the process more robust.
-
Automate entirely the process and guarantee a
continuous flux of blended fertilisers in direction of the palletizer,
big bag and bulk blended production line.
-
Guarantee the traceability of the product through each stage of the production.
-
Decrease the human and machine interventions.
